Massage is an essential tool in holistic health care. It brings our awareness to areas of tension and dysfunction, helping to release these blockages and allowing our bodies to regain balance.

Kiri completed a Diploma of Therapeutic Massage and Diploma of Body Therapies in sports and energy, at the New Zealand College of Massage in 1998. Since then she have continued to study bodywork, including neuromuscular therapy. Kiri have been a registered massage therapist (RMT) with Massage New Zealand (MNZ) since 2000.

Kiri is a specialist in the prevention, management and maintenance of Occupational Overuse Syndrome (OOS). Massage is a fundamental tool in the prevention of OOS. It is most effective if received regularly to maintain healthy and relaxed neck and shoulders. But is also essential tool to help relieve pain; be it headaches, shoulder, forearm or hand pain.

Treatments incorporate trigger point therapy, myo-fascial release, deep tissue, remedial massage, postural assessment, sports massage, stretching, reflexology and relaxation. Each session is tailored to the individual needs of the client. There is a specialized pregnancy table available for pre-natal massage. Kiri works with a range of clients from international level athletes (NZ shooting, tri-athletes), The All Blacks, to corporate clients.

Kiri enjoys the educational role of massage, assisting people to change old postures creating healthier patterns. Whether it is a specific condition needing attention, or just a chance to relax, massage therapy is an essential tool to Rebalance, de-stress and unwind.
